I got to play around on this at the dealer near me (larry h miller dodge/ram in draper) after SEMA, its a BIG truck, but very very cool. The suspension and front bumper are my favorite parts.

Trays like that can be bought standard for most international market utes, i.e Mazda BT-50, Ford Ranger etc. I like that someone is doing it for the US market since it is a really good idea for people who actually fill their trays with potentially damaging crap.

They’re fairly common in the US as well. As are these:

I have to say the flat bed style is growing on me. I used to always prefer an enclosed space (and still mostly do), but the utility of it would be very nice.

its.not unique many people do flatbeds here in usa mostly so they dont have to repair the bed and so they can drive on the highway at 75mph with a dog standing on the back.

Ah right, that would make a lot of sense. Can you buy a tray-less truck off the lot in the US too? Seems like it would benefit commercial operations.

What are those, just a skinny long bed with toolboxes? We definitely don’t get those but I can see an application, especially if that bed was exactly one shipping pallet wide.

Yes, you can buy chassis cab trucks. The bed delete option saves you a couple hundred bucks.
